In a blistering attack, Shiv Sena’s Shaina NC has backed BJP chief JP Nadda’s remarks, insisting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee must now say goodbye after a decade-and-a-half of governance defined solely by appeasement. From Mumbai, NC told IANS that Mamata’s era of mismanagement is over, with citizens ready for fresh leadership.

The outspoken leader painted a picture of Bengal under Mamata: chronic poor administration, where development took a backseat to vote-bank politics. ‘The public has seen through her tactics. It’s time for her to pack up,’ NC asserted, signaling a potential shift in the state’s political landscape.

Shifting focus to polls in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry, NC made a passionate plea. With 126 seats in Assam, 140 in Kerala, and 30 in Puducherry, she called on electorate to vote for progress. Assam’s NDA, led by the hugely popular Himanta Biswa Sarma, is set for a landmark win, she forecasted.

Praising the swift passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill, NC noted PM Modi’s unwavering backing. ‘Parties must show resolve in discussions ahead,’ she urged, highlighting the bill’s potential to transform gender representation in politics.

On the Indore ‘Vande Mataram’ row involving Congress’s Fauzia Sheikh, NC stood firm: ‘Loving India means singing our national song without hesitation.’ She also appreciated Shashi Tharoor’s nod to India’s global diplomacy, promoting dialogue over division.

Celebrating Sunetra Pawar’s triumph in Baramati by-election, NC called it a ‘foreseeable historic win,’ reflecting voter preference for proven governance.
