Tiger Shroff Shooting: 11 Arrested, Gang Link Confirmed
Mumbai, October 27: Investigators have established the purpose behind the attack on actor Tiger Shroff. According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, the assault was intended to extort money, establish supremacy and generate fear among people.
The Crime Branch has confirmed that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang targeted Shroff for these reasons. Police said the accused were part of an organised crime network that had been operating with a pre-planned strategy.
The accused allegedly used illegal and dangerous firearms to attack the actor. Officials said the motive was financial gain, expansion of the gang's influence and creating panic in the public. The probe has revealed that the plot was organised through a network spread across several states.
The firing took place on the evening of October 18 in Juhu. Shroff's car came under several rounds of gunfire as it was exiting the premises of a football ground. The actor was not hit by any bullet, but he suffered light injuries on his hand and chest due to shattered glass. His driver and another individual were injured during the incident.
