Tiger Shroff Firing: Supriya Sule Demands Probe Into Jail Claim

Mumbai, October 22: Reacting to the firing aimed at actor Tiger Shroff, NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule has said that a person in jail cannot plan an attack and then publicly own it on social media. Her statement follows a claim of responsibility made in the name of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

Speaking on Thursday, Sule said it was puzzling that Bishnoi was reported to be in jail while he was apparently posting online and saying he took responsibility for the incident. She questioned how a person inside prison could make such a claim, describing it as a deeply confusing development.

Sule added that, considering the way people are being threatened and intimidated, she would demand an inquiry into how someone inside a jail was able to carry out such activities.

The same day, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch presented four more accused at Killa Court under transit remand. The newly produced accused include two women, Radha and Babita, and two men, Kunal and Sumit.

Police sources have said the accused practised shooting at a spot near Mumbai before the attack. It has also been reported that a gun went off by mistake while one of the accused was checking the weapon in a hotel room in Andheri.

According to reports, the accused initially wanted to target another Bollywood celebrity. When they could not reach their originally chosen target without difficulty, they reportedly decided to go after Tiger Shroff.

Reports also indicate that the accused learned from reels shared on social media by Tiger's fans that he did not have police security at that time. This information was reportedly a key factor in their decision.

Initial interrogation has further revealed that the purpose of targeting Tiger was to spread fear in the industry.

On the evening of October 18, three motorcycle-borne men fired shots at Tiger in Mumbai's Juhu area. The actor was not hurt, but his driver sustained injuries.

Within hours, a video clip claiming responsibility for the shooting began circulating on social media. In it, a person claiming to be Anil Pandit of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang said the attack was a warning to the actor to stop working with superstar Salman Khan.

Within a few hours of the incident, all three accused were arrested from Kota railway station in Rajasthan.
