Three buried after municipal retaining wall gives way in Gwalior

A municipal retaining wall along a Gwalior road collapsed on Sunday, causing three people to be buried under the fallen masonry. Rescue squads, including police and local volunteers, worked to free the victims. Two of the injured were stabilized at a medical facility, but a female victim, identified as Sapna, could not be saved and was declared dead.

Officials reported that the wall, built to protect the roadway, had weakened over time. The site remains under investigation, and traffic has been rerouted while cleanup continues.
