Three Arrest Warrants Issued as Investigation Continues into Kausambi Factory Explosion

Following the tragic firecracker factory blast in Kausambi, the district police have issued fresh arrest warrants for three individuals who remain at large. The warrants are part of case number 219/2026, which encompasses charges under the Explosives Act and the Indian Penal Code.

The three wanted persons—identified as Shakil (son of Nizamuddin), Kahkasa Bano (wife of Naushad), and Adil (son of Naushad)—are believed to have played key roles in the illegal production and storage of explosive materials. Their continued evasion has prompted the police to increase patrols in surrounding villages and to coordinate with neighboring districts.

A reward of Rs 25,000 per fugitive has been announced, aiming to motivate locals to share any information that could lead to their capture. The police have emphasized that any tip will be handled with strict confidentiality.

Senior Superintendent Satyanarayan has also ordered the suspension of seven senior officers from Pipri and Chayal police outposts for alleged negligence, signaling a zero‑tolerance approach toward procedural lapses in high‑risk investigations.
