Threat to prosecutor amid asset case of former MLA

The Special Public Prosecutor handling the asset case against former Trinamool Congress MLA Debraj Chakraborty reported a threatening call while working in his office. The caller, whose TrueCaller ID read Raju Hasan, General Secretary of an AB Supporter State Committee, warned the prosecutor not to proceed. The threat was recorded and passed to the police for investigation.
