Thousands Get Relief as Undisputed Property Transfers Speed Up

Dehradun, October 29: A mutation campaign launched on the directions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has brought quick relief to thousands of people by resolving a large number of undisputed property transfer matters.

Within the Virasat Abhiyan, a total of 10,404 cases were filed under Section 34 and Section 33A. Of these, 4,943 have already been resolved, giving a noticeable boost to the handling of property inheritance issues.

What the Mutation Day Revealed

The details from the Mutation Day held on October 17 show that 9,244 cases were filed under Section 34, and 3,835 of them were disposed of. Under Section 33A, 1,160 cases were filed, with 1,108 already resolved.

Adding both sections together, 4,943 cases have been settled.

A Push for Simpler Governance

CM Dhami said the government wants to make public services easier to access, transparent and completed within fixed timelines. He called the Virasat Abhiyan an important move toward that goal.

According to the Chief Minister, delays in handling undisputed property cases create difficulties for citizens. Ensuring that such matters are resolved quickly is a key priority of the government.

Instructions for Continued Action

The Chief Minister has asked the concerned officers to review the cases received under the drive on a regular basis and to see that the pending cases are cleared promptly under the rules. The objective is to prevent people from having to make unnecessary rounds of government offices.

The government says it remains dedicated to public welfare and to making administrative processes more effective and people-oriented. The initiative is also expected to improve revenue services, help solve public problems and strengthen citizens' faith in the administration.
