Police launch probe after grenade thrown at Thoubal oil pump, no casualties reported

In a separate incident on the same day, unidentified individuals approached an oil pump station in Thoubal, Manipur, and lobbed a grenade into the premises. The explosive detonated close to an oil tanker parked inside the complex. Fortunately, the blast did not cause any injuries. Law enforcement agencies have opened an investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and tracing the vehicle used by the perpetrators. Officials said the probe aims to identify the attackers and prevent future attacks on critical infrastructure.
