Thana Diwas Jan Sunwai Helps Maintain Law and Order During Festival Season

While citizens were able to bring their concerns to senior police officers, Delhi police continued to enforce law and order throughout the festive period. Uniformed personnel were deployed to manage public gatherings, regulate traffic flow, and secure crowded markets and other high‑density areas. The Jan Sunwai platform operated from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday, allowing residents to file complaints directly with senior officials. Under the guidance of the Police Commissioner, the outreach program supports both grievance redressal and the ongoing effort to keep the capital safe during celebrations.
