Thakur Accuses Opposition of Spreading Chaos, Ignoring Facts

During a press conference on October 12, senior BJP figure Anurag Thakur launched a scathing attack on opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. Thakur described Gandhi as a leader who neither knows facts nor understands logical argument or legal norms.

He accused Gandhi of deliberately fostering instability, portraying constitutional bodies as weak, and seeking to harm India's reputation abroad. Thakur said Gandhi’s narrative about vote rigging is merely “air‑talk” lacking any documentary support.

The BJP spokesperson also highlighted past instances where Gandhi approached the President and the Chief Justice, only to be rebuffed. He claimed that the Congress’ strategy revolves around creating chaos whenever it cannot secure power.

Thakur urged that while dissent is permissible, any allegations must be substantiated, and that the right to protest does not extend to defaming the mandate given by voters.
