Temple Priest Raju Das Commends CM for Preserving Sanatan Heritage
Raju Das, the priest of the historic Hanumangarhi temple, publicly thanked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the recent renaming of Bhadohi to Sant Ravidas Nagar. He described the CM as a modern-day ascetic whose policies consistently uplift the Sanatan culture.
The priest recounted numerous instances where the state government has undertaken the renovation of centuries‑old temples, regardless of the sectarian affiliation. He asserted that the new district name reflects a deep respect for the traditions championed by Saint Ravidas, whose teachings continue to inspire harmony and devotion.
Raju Das warned that political forces which undermine Hindu values should be approached with caution, reiterating his belief that the administration’s cultural initiatives are vital for safeguarding the nation’s spiritual identity.
