Temperatures to Remain High as Rainfall Continues in Tamil Nadu's Western Hills

Despite the ongoing rain, daytime temperatures across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are expected to stay elevated, with maximum readings reaching around 38°C in many locations. The IMD projects a modest cooling of up to 2°C over the next few days as cloud cover increases and rain showers become more frequent. The western hill districts will continue to experience heavy rain, while the northern coastal districts may see moderate rain with occasional strong breezes.
