SAR Status Report Shows Full Distribution of Census Forms in Telangana

A status report released on Friday confirmed that Block Level Officers (BLOs) in Telangana have completed 100 percent distribution of the SAR census forms to eligible voters. According to Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy, all 33,826,004 registered voters have received their forms.

Digitalisation of the forms is also progressing rapidly, with 77.12 percent (approximately 26,088,334) already entered into the election database. However, more than 770,000 voters have not yet submitted their paperwork, prompting the Commission to grant an extra week for submission.

This comprehensive rollout is a crucial step toward finalising the electoral roll and ensuring that every eligible citizen can participate in the forthcoming polls.
