Teja Pilgrims Tragedy: 9 Fatalities Near Nagpur‑Raypur Highway

The Nagpur‑Raypur stretch of the national highway witnessed a severe accident on Friday morning when a loaded van struck a parked truck near the village of Pimplagav, Bhandara district. The vehicle, packed with pilgrims heading to Nagpur for Teej, had approximately 16‑17 occupants. The crash resulted in nine deaths, comprising six women and three children. Emergency responders worked with locals to extract the injured, sending the seriously wounded to Bhandara Medical College and others to Nagpur's GMC for advanced care.
