Technical Teams Conduct Continuous Surveillance of Saran Embankment

Specialised technical squads have been placed on continuous watch over the Saran embankment and its supporting structures throughout Gopalganj district. Their mandate includes frequent structural inspections, sensor‑based water level tracking, and rapid deployment of repair crews should any weakness appear.

The teams report that the embankment remains stable, with no signs of imminent overflow. Patrolling units have intensified their presence in areas directly exposed to river currents, while auxiliary staff monitor the flow released from the Balmiqui Nagar barrage, which has shown a modest decline.
