Tata Electronics semiconductor fab gets green light in Dholela

During the inspection, the chief minister examined the Tata Electronics semiconductor fabrication plant, a cornerstone of the planned semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem in Dholela. The facility aims to attract allied industries, technology firms and create skilled employment opportunities.

Officials said the fab will be integrated with a broader supply‑chain network supported by the new airport, rail corridors and dedicated logistics zones, positioning Gujarat as a competitive hub for chip production in India.
