TVK seeks formal state‑wide coalition ahead of local polls

Ahead of the forthcoming local body elections, TVK is accelerating talks to cement a formal, state‑level coalition with its longstanding supporters. While the partners have continuously backed the government, they have operated independently without a common banner.

Party leaders emphasise that the proposed front will go beyond mere electoral math; it will be built on shared ideological tenets. The coalition is expected to enable a unified political campaign, streamline responses to common challenges and present a single, powerful voice on matters affecting the state.
