Swatantra Dev Defends Yogi Government, Labels SP a ‘Dynastic Looters’

Swatantra Dev Singh did not hold back when addressing the Samajwadi Party’s claim that the Yogi government is merely a political rival. He described the SP as a “family‑run party that repeatedly plundered the state whenever it held power.”

Dev argued that under the Yogi administration, law enforcement has been strengthened, curbing criminal activities that once plagued the state. He added that the government’s focus on infrastructure, tourism, and cultural projects has revitalized the economy.

The minister warned that the SP’s lack of a development agenda could jeopardize the welfare of Uttar Pradesh’s citizens if they return to power.
