Swami Vivekananda’s Legacy Celebrated as Amit Shah Highlights ‘Sw’ and Confidence

Delhi – The birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was observed across India with cultural programs and public tributes. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, posted a detailed tribute on X, noting how the monk’s brief yet powerful life restored India’s confidence and awakened its ‘self’ (Sw).

Shah shared a short video in which he recalled Vivekananda’s role at the World Parliament of Religions in the United States and his concise definition of Sanatan Dharma as a universal brotherhood. He reiterated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is walking the same road, leading the country with the same vigor and spiritual modernity championed by Vivekananda.
