SVIMS Tirupati recruitment: 67 positions for AP residents

Shri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) in Tirupati has issued a separate notification for Andhra Pradesh natives to fill 67 vacancies across paramedical and non‑paramedical streams. The paramedical cadre comprises 19 seats – four backlog and fifteen regular – while the non‑paramedical cadre offers 48 seats – eleven backlog and thirty‑seven regular.

Backlog paramedical roles consist of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Grade‑I), a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Grade‑II), a Perfusion Technologist Grade‑II/Assistant Perfusionist and an Instrument Mechanic Grade‑II. Regular paramedical openings include a Clinical Psychologist, a Bio‑Medical Engineer, an Instrument Mechanic Grade‑II, Nuclear Medicine Technologists (Grades I & II), a Speech Therapist, two Perfusion Technologists/Assistants, six Pharmacists Grade‑II and an Audiometry Technician.

The non‑paramedical backlog vacancies are for one Electrician, three Junior Assistants, five Steno‑Cum‑Junior Assistants and two Gas‑Room Operators. Regular non‑paramedical appointments cover a Medical Communication & Publicity Officer, six Assistant Accounts Officers, two Assistant Librarians, a Networking Engineer, an Assistant Public Relations Officer, a Photographer, a Health Inspector, another Electrician, twelve Junior Assistants, a Cashier, four Billing Clerks and six Receptionists.

Application submission is online, commencing 15 July and ending on 10 August. Candidates must hold a recognized qualification – ranging from SSC/10th, ITI/Diploma, graduation, MA/MSc, BTech, MTech, PhD or equivalent – and the stipulated experience in the relevant discipline. The age window is 18‑42 years as of 1 July, with concessions for reserved categories.

Shortlisting will be based on a Computer‑Based Test, personal interview, work experience and document verification. Salary bands are from ₹27,500 up to ₹1,147,760 per month, along with other allowances. The fee to be paid online is ₹2,360 for Open Category/EWS applicants and ₹1,770 for BC/SC/ST candidates.
