Delhi Court News: Supreme Court Refuses to Consider MP's Relief in Nadia Circuit House Case

Moitra's allegations center on an alleged breach of a high court order that had earlier secured her residence in the government building. She recounted arriving at the circuit house on the evening of August 14, receiving hospitality, and later being instructed to vacate by an additional district magistrate who claimed the directive came from higher authorities. A subsequent WhatsApp message mentioned an August 12 order concerning maintenance work. Her legal representatives warned that ignoring the high court’s protection raises significant federal concerns and called for a neutral investigation. The Supreme Court’s dismissal redirects the case back to the Calcutta High Court for further deliberation.
