Students Protest Modi's X Post Over Exam Leak Handling

Students and activists gathered at Jantar Mantar on July 23 to voice disappointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s X statement regarding the NEET‑UG paper leak. Protesters said the leader should first listen to their concerns rather than offering brief social‑media remarks.

One demonstrator stressed that the youth are peacefully demanding a dialogue‑driven solution and should not be forced to change protest tactics. Another participant recalled the police lathi‑charge during the recent Parliament march, calling for a permanent, transparent resolution instead of attempts to merely suppress the issue. The crowd repeatedly demanded that the Education Minister step down before any meaningful action can be taken.
