Students’ Platform Hear Women Share Struggles, Demand Equality

The event gave several female students a stage to narrate personal challenges ranging from safety concerns to academic barriers. Many explained how fear of violence forces half of them to abandon job opportunities or higher‑education pursuits, and how family expectations pull 45 percent of young women away from studies. Gandhi stressed that about 60 percent of young women cannot leave their homes safely on their own, making the call for a secure environment urgent.
