‘Students’ Goonj’ Campaign Launches Nationwide Protest Against NEET Paper Leak
The Congress party has rolled out the "Students' Goonj" initiative, a coordinated protest across twenty‑eight Indian cities targeting the NEET paper leak controversy. City coordinator Anshul Trivedi explained that the movement seeks three key outcomes: holding accountable those responsible for the leak and securing the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan; imposing a ban on the National Testing Agency; and publishing a transparent, regular calendar for examinations and recruitment drives.
Activists will conduct street meetings, cultural events, and house‑to‑house campaigns for the next thirty days, providing a platform for students to voice concerns. The programme is scheduled to culminate with a mass gathering in Delhi on August 9, where Congress leaders plan to present their demands to the central government.
