Students Echo to be held at Nehru Stadium, Patwari appeals to chief minister

On September 12, the “Students’ Echo” programme, organised by the Congress party, will bring together Rahul Gandhi and a wide spectrum of students from across India. The event is slated to take place at the Nehru Stadium in Indore, pending approval from the state government.

State party chief Jitu Patwari wrote to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, urging him to make the stadium available for the gathering. He described the programme as a crucial opportunity for a meaningful conversation on youth empowerment, education security, and the nation’s long‑term development.

According to Patwari, the youth of today are grappling with critical questions about education standards, employment opportunities, and future prospects. He argued that without a safe and high‑quality educational environment, these aspirations cannot be realised.

Patwari also commended Rahul Gandhi’s consistent attempts to elevate student issues to the centre of the national agenda, stressing that the event will bolster democratic dialogue and public awareness.

He concluded by requesting immediate instructions to the concerned officials for clearing the venue, believing that timely approval will reflect the government’s commitment to education and youth welfare.
