Students demand impartial probe as BJP backs peaceful protest

Students across Jharkhand have been conducting a disciplined, non‑violent movement for the past 22 days, pressing for a CBI inquiry into the hiring scandals tied to the JPSC and JSSC exams.

Babulal Marandi, speaking after laying flowers at the Vajpayee statue, said the agitation reflects the genuine frustration of young aspirants who feel their future has been compromised by corrupt practices.

He reaffirmed the BJP’s moral responsibility to stand with the demonstrators, urging the state government to engage in dialogue and ensure a fair, transparent investigation.
