Statue of Unity Hosts Historic National Film Awards Ceremony

For the first time, the National Film Awards ceremony was held outside Delhi, taking place beside the iconic Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat. Organisers highlighted the location as a symbol of national unity and a fitting backdrop for an event that gathers the entire Indian film fraternity. Chairperson Prasoon Joshi lauded the choice of venue, stating that the setting underscores the spirit of togetherness that the statue represents.
