States' Leaders Praise Dinkar's Timeless Contributions to Hindi Literature

A chorus of Indian state chief ministers paid homage to Ramdhari Singh Dinkar on his Jayanthi, emphasizing the poet’s enduring impact on Hindi letters. Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi Adityanath called Dinkar a ‘shloka‑like’ figure whose impartial and bold voice re‑energised national self‑esteem. Delhi’s Rekha Gupta noted the poet’s ability to capture both the pain of colonial oppression and the ambitions of an independent India, rendering his work a beacon of cultural pride. Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Bihar leaders added that Dinkar’s epic works such as “Rashmirathi”, “Kurukshetra” and “Urvashi” continue to stir feelings of courage, patriotism and humanitarian empathy among the populace.
