State officials prioritize road links for growing number of devotees

In response to increasing pilgrim footfall, Andhra Pradesh officials are fast‑tracking road projects that connect key temples. The government has earmarked 120 crore rupees for a 205‑kilometre stretch that will serve more than one hundred pilgrimage centres. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has personally inspected several sites, urging the Panchayat Raj Department to maintain high construction standards. Completed routes include access roads to the famous Lakshmi Narasimha temples in Intervedi and Ahobilam, as well as links to remote shrines in Devaraya Nallagammam and Marri Pudi.
