State Monitoring Cell Seizes Cash and Vehicles in Chorwad Gambling Crackdown

Gujarat’s State Monitoring Cell executed a sweep at the Suthar Samaj Vadi, allegedly used as a gambling den close to Chorwad Girls School. The operation netted ₹3,72,200 in cash, a four‑wheeler, eleven two‑wheelers, and 42 smartphones. Overall, assets valued at ₹16,02,900 were confiscated. Police have booked 42 arrested individuals under the Gaming Act, while two more accused – a man from Ramvaav Chowk named Viren Sevra and a local known as ‘Lala’ – have been declared wanted.
