In Gandhinagar, the chief minister’s appearance at the Khadiya Ganraj pavilion drew an enthusiastic crowd of political leaders, party workers and families. After participating in the mahā‑aarti, Patel touched Lord Ganesha’s feet, a ceremony being observed for the first time in Gujarat. The event, coordinated by the Asht Vinayak Charitable Trust, was intended to revive traditional festivities while integrating modern cultural themes.
