State Initiatives Like 'Skill Sakhi' and AI Hub Propel Uttar Pradesh Forward

Uttar Pradesh is rapidly positioning itself as a hub for information technology, electronics and artificial intelligence. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the “Tech Youth – Samarth Youth” initiative connects the next generation with cutting‑edge technologies and industry mentors.

The “One District‑One Product” (ODOP) strategy, which promotes traditional crafts on a global stage, has already earned worldwide recognition for several local specialties. Complementary schemes such as the Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign, employability‑focused courses in polytechnic institutes, and the single‑domain skill and finishing school programmes are preparing youths for immediate entry into the job market.

The chief minister highlighted that the MSME sector alone is expected to create millions of jobs, serving as a clear indicator of the state’s rising economic momentum. By aligning skill training with emerging sectors, Uttar Pradesh aims to close the gap between education and industry needs.

He encouraged every young resident to enrol in these programmes, assuring that skill proficiency will become the backbone of both personal self‑reliance and the state’s broader economic aspirations.
