RANCHI, Aug 4 — The Jharkhand government announced plans to set up a high‑level committee to scrutinise the complaints raised by student groups over recruitment exam malpractices. The move comes after the Crime Investigation Department (CID) conducted simultaneous raids in multiple districts, including Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Deoghar, Godda, Ramgarh and Hazaribagh.
During the raids, CID officers seized laptops, mobile phones, bank statements, carbon copies of OMR sheets, admit cards and other critical documents from examination centres. These items are now undergoing forensic and technical analysis.
