State deploys advanced life support and 4WD ambulances for remote tribal villages

The 22 ALS ambulances are equipped with cardiac monitors, defibrillators and oxygen supplies, while the 55 BLS units provide essential emergency care. The 12 specially fitted 4WD ambulances can reach villages cut off by floods, landslides or poor roads, delivering patients to hospitals without delay. These vehicles are being procured under the direction of the Additional Director of Medical Services in Gandhinagar, ensuring that the procurement process aligns with the state's urgent healthcare goals.
