Any early indicators – soil fissures, shifting embankments or unexpected water flow – must trigger immediate remedial action. Ongoing soil‑nailing projects at Kodai Kanal were ordered to be fast‑tracked, with regular progress checks to ensure the work meets safety standards. Essential equipment, heavy‑duty machines and trained crews must be positioned near vulnerable road corridors so that blockages caused by fallen trees, rocks or mud can be cleared promptly, minimizing disruption to essential transport links.
