State Allocates Rs 324 Crore for Drinking Water in Drought‑Hit Districts

Karnataka has earmarked a total of Rs 324 crore to address drinking‑water shortages in drought‑affected districts. Each district will receive Rs 5 crore, while deputy commissioners can draw on Rs 600‑700 crore in their PD accounts to meet local requirements.
