State Allocates Nearly ₹3 Crore to Upskill Anganwadi Staff for Disability Inclusion

The Samagra Shiksha Project Directorate has released a financial limit of roughly ₹2.98 crore for the inclusive education drive. Of this, ₹17.70 lakh will fund the master‑trainer component, while ₹2.80 crore will cover the cost of training Anganwadi workers across the state. The funding ensures the availability of teaching aids, technical resources, and customised materials that address disability inclusion, early intervention, and the creation of inclusive Anganwadi classrooms. Monitoring mechanisms at the district level will track participation rates and quality of delivery, with progress reports submitted to the state project office.
