After the draft deed is saved in the “My Documents” section, the user proceeds to the second stage where the saved files are submitted, the Aadhaar authentication is completed and biometric data—fingerprint, photograph and iris scan—are recorded for all parties. The third step requires online payment of stamp duty and registration charges. In the fourth stage, the applicant gives electronic consent for the submission of supporting documents, completing the procedural workflow. Finally, within 24 hours, the competent registrar examines the deed, auxiliary records and identity proofs. If everything complies with statutory requirements, the registrar signs the deed digitally, and the fully registered document becomes available for download through the applicant’s portal login, eliminating any need for physical visits or token collection.
