Special Operations Group Confiscates Codine Syrup and Multiple Tablet Brands

Food and Drugs inspectors GY Upadhyay, Jelben Gameti and Pinlben Vavaya joined SOG officers during the operation. The joint team uncovered 1,440 Pyvon Sais Plus tablets, 144 Spaz Trace tablets, 6,920 Spasmo Proxivan tablets, 750 Apocolam tablets, 3,840 Calic tablets, 5,200 Pregabalin tablets and 20 Pregout Kit tablets. All of these were stored in violation of drug‑control rules and are known to be misused for intoxication. The department has started a detailed examination of the seized items to determine further legal action.
