Special Accommodations Provided for Candidates with Disabilities in J&K Exams

JKBOSE has set up a separate examination venue for students with disabilities, granting them up to 20 minutes of additional time and a five‑point reduction in passing criteria based on the nature of their impairment. The board’s chairman, during a visit to several centres, emphasized that these measures aim to remove barriers and help every learner achieve their academic goals. Coordination with senior officials and secretaries helped finalise the accommodations well before the start of the Class 10 examinations.
