SP’s ‘Pathshala Pukare’ Campaign Faces Opposition from UP Minister

The Samajwadi Party’s "Pathshala Pukare" initiative, launched on September 5 to mark Teacher’s Day, claims that closed schools will reopen and that the PDA (Primary Development Authority) will resume its work. Akhilesh Yadav described the program as a push for prioritising education, arguing that it would raise social‑political awareness among the underprivileged and promote equality.

Minister Rajbhar, however, labelled the campaign as a political ploy. He accused SP leaders of lacking trust in their own workers and even referenced a controversial statement allegedly made by SP leader Lal Bihari Yadav, suggesting that party workers would be treated like campaign dogs. Rajbhar emphasized that real change comes from dedicated party workers, not from symbolic gestures.
