SP Leaders Question BJP Actions on Madrasas and Trust Appointments

Ayodhya – Two senior members of the Samajwadi Party have publicly challenged the BJP‑led government's recent policies. MP Avadhesh Prasad warned that unchecked inflation is eroding the purchasing power of ordinary Indians, describing the economy as “in complete turmoil.”

Prasad also defended the internal decision to appoint Akhilesh Yadav’s Lohia Trust as chairperson, stating that it reflects the party president’s directive and that no dissent exists within the ranks.

In a parallel statement, MP Sanatan Pandey raised objections to a Uttar Pradesh order targeting madrasas. Pandey asserted that no entity has the authority to shut down religious or educational institutions arbitrarily, labeling such moves as attempts to fragment the nation.

He reminded listeners that the Indian Constitution mandates rule of law, a principle he claims the ruling party is overlooking. Pandey concluded by saying that the public is now more aware and will no longer fall prey to partisan narratives.
