SP leaders claim FIRs on Rahul Gandhi, Pappu Yadav are politically motivated

Avdhesh Prasad, a senior SP MP, intensified the criticism by saying the BJP has institutionalised filing false FIRs as a strategy to silence dissent. He highlighted that the party feels uneasy after an SC‑mandated Ram temple was constructed, especially because the Ayodhya parliamentary seat is now represented by a scheduled‑caste MP.
