SP Leader Emphasizes Women’s Rights as Beyond Politics in Festive Appeal

Lucknow, August 28 – In a special Raksha Bandhan address, Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party, highlighted that women’s respect, safety and aspirations are not just political agendas but personal vows.

He wrote a letter to mothers, sisters and daughters, stating that the festival symbolizes trust, respect, security and the sacred duty of relationships. Yadav assured that each daughter will have the right to study without intimidation, each sister will receive opportunities to progress, and each mother will feel her family is safe and dignified.

The leader argued that a protected woman fortifies her family, an advancing daughter propels society, and empowered sisters drive the state’s development. He vowed that his voice, struggle and commitment will remain steadfast to protect women’s honour, rights and future.
