Rajbhar alleges SP's 2012 win sparked widespread communal unrest
In a series of posts on the X platform, OMP Rajbhar has accused the Samajwadi Party of igniting communal and caste turmoil after its 2012 return to power in Uttar Pradesh.
He asserts that the SP, under Akhilesh Yadav’s leadership, allowed its supporters to unleash violent actions across the state, turning several districts into conflict zones. According to Rajbhar, nine districts with a high density of Scheduled Caste populations witnessed arson attacks that resulted in property loss and lives.
The minister pointed to a specific case in Ambedkar Nagar’s Akbarpur constituency, where a rice mill was set ablaze, allegedly by SP activists. He claimed the incident exemplified the administration’s inability to curb lawlessness and maintain public safety.
Rajbhar’s narrative frames the 2012 SP government as a catalyst for an “anarchic” environment, urging voters to remember the chaotic period before supporting the party again.
