Stakeholders Urge Skill Building for After‑Care Orphans at Swathan 2026

Prashant Harlankar, senior pracharak of the RSS, warned that government schemes alone cannot secure the future of these children. He appealed to the capable sections of society to step forward with education, moral guidance and pathways to self‑sufficiency. Likewise, Vice‑Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mahesh Verma highlighted higher‑education institutions’ responsibility to connect vulnerable youths with training, career counselling and job opportunities, noting that academic support must be linked with social responsibility.

Secretary Rashmi Singh of the Department of Women and Child Development stressed that child rights encompass safe environments, quality schooling, robust health, nutrition, emotional care and equal chances for personal growth. She stated that the ultimate goal of child protection is to transform beneficiaries into independent, responsible citizens through coordinated government, NGO and community action.
