Rescue teams retrieve bodies after sinkhole at Aravalli Resort in Jaipur

Witnesses reported a sudden sinkhole forming in a 20‑foot deep pit that had been dug for sewage purposes. The collapse caused panic at the construction zone, and the contractor allegedly absconded immediately afterwards. Police and senior officials arrived promptly, and coordinated rescue efforts with villagers succeeded in extracting the six labourers trapped beneath the rubble.
