Sinha Warns BJP Celebration After By‑elections Won’t Translate to General Polls

Rakesh Sinha cautioned the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against getting complacent after recent by‑election successes. He argued that the party’s triumphs in West Bengal and Assam were achieved through the use of money, muscle power, and a favourable election commission. Sinha asserted that once all constitutional agencies are aligned, victory is almost guaranteed, but the same formula may not hold in a nationwide contest. He urged the BJP to focus on broader strategies rather than short‑term celebrations.
