Single‑Window System and Teacher Transfer Plans Unveiled by Bihar’s Education Minister

During a visit to the Thave Durga Temple in Gopalganj on July 8, Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari offered prayers for the state’s prosperity and then briefed the media on key education initiatives. He highlighted that the government will first address the student‑teacher ratio disparity before initiating any massive teacher reshuffle.

A single‑window mechanism is being prepared to handle departmental issues and public grievances efficiently, with full operational rollout expected soon.

The minister assured that the transfer policy is in its final stages and will be rolled out within days. He also warned private schools against exploiting parents, stating that a rigorous SOP will be issued and enforced across the sector.
