Proposed single portal for monitoring college hostels and PGs unveiled

Ashish Sud announced plans to create a unified online portal where college hostels and private PG accommodations must register details such as available facilities, occupant numbers and adherence to safety protocols. The portal will allow real‑time verification of agreements, rent structures and security deposits, providing students a single point of reference to report violations. The proposal, discussed in the high‑level meeting chaired by the chief minister and LG, aims to bring transparency and streamline enforcement of existing housing regulations for institutions across Delhi.
